URBAN UPGRADING: THE SIGN OF HISTORY

Building 2 is the second intervention of redevelopment within Manifatture Milano project, following the transformation of the building destined to become the Experimental Centre of Cinematography. Mainly with a housing function, Building 2 will also include small commercial areas, services and professional offices. The areas will be realized, in the ancient structure, using modern building technologies aimed at guaranteeing a high living comfort situated in a pleasant and outstanding environment.

The houses will have large loggias situated back from the original façade and completed by the opening of orderly cuts which will enable to properly light the areas, preserving the original architecture; the façades will be redeveloped preserving the historical and architectural characteristics of the building, as regards the materials, finishes and colours.

The basement will be redeveloped to locate the garages and the technological rooms. The external areas will be reserved to pedestrians, who will enjoy the accurate design of the green areas in all the paths which will characterize Manifatture Milano citadel.
